Site is also close to historic Maldon and the Heybridge Basin making it a great base to see the Thames sailing barges. The Combined Military Services Museum, Maldon Museum, Maeldune Heritage Centre and Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome are also places of interest that are worth visiting.
